Purpose and scope

Sutton Funding publishes general educational content to help business owners understand funding terminology, compare common structures, organize application materials and identify questions to ask before signing an agreement. A guide is not an offer, approval decision, legal opinion, accounting advice or recommendation for a particular business.

Named authorship

Each guide displays its author and publication and update dates. Sutton Funding's current educational guides identify Henry Gross, CEO, as their author.

Sources and factual claims

Our editorial policy is to use primary government, regulator and program sources when they are available and relevant, link readers to those sources, and distinguish general market explanations from facts about Sutton Funding. Product descriptions must defer to the applicable written offer and final agreement.

Guides should not state unverified eligibility thresholds, prices, approval promises, funding times, customer outcomes or professional credentials. Calculators and examples must identify their assumptions and educational limitations.

Review before publication

Before publication or a substantive update, content is reviewed for source support, internal consistency, plain-language clarity and alignment with Sutton Funding's disclosures and legal policies. The review also checks that educational explanations are not presented as individualized financial, legal or tax advice.

Updates and corrections

Material updates are reflected in the date shown on the guide. If a factual error is identified, the content is reviewed against the cited or controlling source and corrected where appropriate. See the corrections policy for how to report an issue and how corrections are handled.
