Business Funding Option

A business line of credit for flexible access

A business line of credit generally allows approved businesses to draw funds as needs arise instead of receiving one fixed lump sum. The specific limit, pricing, draw rules and repayment terms depend on the provider's written offer.

How a line of credit is different

Unlike a one-time financing amount, a line of credit is generally designed around an approved limit and the ability to request draws. Businesses often consider this type of access as a financial safety net or for recurring and unpredictable operating needs.

Each provider may define draws, repayment, renewal, fees and availability differently. Do not rely on a general product description to understand an offer; review the complete written agreement.

What the provider may review

The application process may include business information, owner information, financial records, bank statements, credit reports and identity verification. Sutton Funding may share application information with prospective funders, lenders, brokers and service providers for evaluation, processing, funding or servicing as described in its legal policies.

Approval and continued availability are not guaranteed. Any offer remains subject to underwriting, verification and final approval by the applicable provider.

Questions to ask about an offer

  • What is the approved limit, and how are draws requested?
  • Which charges apply to drawn amounts, unused availability, maintenance or renewals?
  • How and when must each draw be repaid?
  • Can availability change, and what events may suspend future draws?
  • Which company is the provider and servicer named in the documents?

Compare your options

If the business needs support for current operations, review working capital. If it is planning one defined investment, compare term financing. Availability and fit depend on the applicant and the actual offer.
