The Process
From application to final funding documents
Sutton Funding collects business information, evaluates available options and may connect an application with third-party funding providers. Approval and funding are never guaranteed.
- 1
Submit business information
Complete the online application with accurate information about the business and its authorized owners or signers. The services are for U.S. business funding purposes, and an applicant must be at least 18 and authorized to act for the business.
- 2
Provide requested documents
Depending on the application, Sutton Funding or a prospective provider may request bank statements, credit information, identification, business records or other documents. Information may be verified with banks, credit bureaus, references, public records and verification services.
- 3
Review available options
Sutton Funding may evaluate the request through its own programs and a network of funders, lenders and partners. Product type, provider, amount, pricing, fees, payment schedule and availability depend on underwriting and verification.
- 4
Read the written offer
Calculator outputs, pre-qualification messages and prospective terms are not binding. Review the named funding provider, total repayment obligation, payment frequency, term, fees and other conditions in the written documents before signing.
- 5
Execute final documents
A binding funding agreement exists only after the business and the applicable provider execute final closing documents. Any disbursement is then handled according to those documents and the provider's final approval.
Compare funding structures
Learn about working capital, term financing and a business line of credit. General descriptions are educational; the final agreement controls.
Before applying, review common funding requirements and use the print-ready document checklist.
Review the legal details
Read the funding disclosures, Terms of Service and Privacy Policy before submitting information.
